Question X config problem on HP zv 5240us laptop

I am trying to install Topologilinux (based on slackware) on my HP zv5240us laptop. The rest ofstuff is working except the X is giving an error

xf86EnableIOPorts: Failed to set up IOPL for I/O

I have tried number of things but still i am not able to make it work. Anyone having any idea whats this about and how to fix this.

TIA,
Neeraj Sharma
