wireless problem in debian on my DELL Latitude D510

hi, everyone

I have installed Debian sarge from hard disk, using netinst.iso which only contains base system. usually, the following step is installing other software I need from network. 'apt-get' can complete all tasks. But now, there is a problem that I cannot connect to network, so everything is hanged up.

My computer is dual boot. the other OS is Window2000 on which I use wireless card connecting with wireless router to surf web. I don't know what kind of broadband service provided by ISP is. because this is company's network.

It seems that I should active wireless card and than configure it to work, but I don't know how to do. Debian base system is very limited, and even has no "less". I can only download some debian packages in windows2000, and mounted to Linux to install.

DELL LATITUDE D510 with wireless card (this is not defaut)

wireless card is my only choice, please help.

the results of lspci is below:

The drivers may have come with your distro, so try:
Code:
modprobe ipw2200
If not, you can get them here.

Once the module is loaded, run `dhcpcd -d` or `dhclient` (not sure which one debian uses) to get an IP (leave off the quotes).

once that is successful, you are connected!

I hope this helps you.
