Wireless on Laptop

I'm having problems with this but I'm not sure where to start debugging. I have a Toshiba Satellite 5105-S901 and I installed Fedora Core kernel 2.3.22-1.2174.

The laptop has an integrated Wireless card. Everything seems to work ok when I'm connected to the network through CAT 5 everything is great. When I connect to the network through Wireless I have issues. I can connect to the internet but my mouse and keyboard stop responding. This goes on until I do ifconfig eth1 down. (eth1 = wireless)

It seems as if the problem is with IRQ's or something related. The way to describe it is as if "I'm out of memory" and everything is responding really slow.

Any Help will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Chuy

The only thing I want to know is how you can "ifconfig eth1 down" if your keyboard stops responding...

That part... just, baffles me.

Both keyboard and mouse end up responding but slowly. About every 10 seconds both the keyboard and mouse will respond and I do stay online...

This might be totally out in left field, but I've had a similar problem that turned out to be in the /etc/hosts entries. Clean out anything other than 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost and see if it helps.
