I assume your card is a Broadcom. If this is the case then install the firmware extractor "bcm43xx-fwcutter" from YaST, This tool allows you to extract the firmware used for Windows. Your Dell most probably came with Windows on it so you should have the firmware on your HD or the driver CD that came with your Dell. Even if you can't find it, you can download it from the Internet. Make sure you're getting the firmware for your hardware otherwise it won't work. When you're finished run modprobe then reboot. You should be able to find and configure your card after the reboot.
