Wireless connection cuts out - presario 2100

Hi, I recently got my wireless connection working with redhat 9 on my Compaq 2175ca laptop.

I think the wireless card is a harris semiconductor prism 2.5, although i've gotten that information from previous posts on this site.

The problem is that the wireless connection cuts out after about 5 minutes of being connected.

I'm using the orinoco_pci module as advised from an article on linux-on-laptops

Does anyone have any advice?
