Unhappy Wireless: ath_pci device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying intitialization

Wireless interface error: ath_pci device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying intitialization

I get this message during bootup and when I try to activate the interface using Netwrok Configuration in KDE.

Is this a configuration file problem in which my wireless card is bound to ath0 rather than eth1? i.e. Do i need to change something in a bootup config file from eth1 to ath0?

Also, I can scan the airwaves using iwlist to find accesspoints and can configure my card using iwconfig, but I can't get an ip with dhclient. It seems to get stuck in a loop. Do I need to run dhcpd and set up my card in a config file?

Thanks. After 2 days of configuring, compiling, and installing drivers, I think I may be very close to getting this thing to work!
