I have just received my copy of SUSE linux prof 9.2 from amazon and am preparing to install it on my machine i just have a couple of questions

I have heard that the broadcom wirless drivers are now available for 64 bit, but how would i go about installing them once i have my suse system up and running

Secondly i have backed up most the important stuff on my laptop to DVD but i know from experience that if i decide to reinstall windows e.g. if i cant get the internet working on linux or need to do anything else it can be a real problem with the acer backup cds as they wont recognise or reformat a linux partition and as i am in spain at the moment with no backup pc to download and rip partitioning progs etc what should i do now (i.e. what program/boot cd should i download and rip incase of problem?)
