Unfortunately, it is unlikely that wine can solve your problem. If someone told you 'wine emulates a Windows PC', they told you wrong; wine provides translation of Windows system calls so Windows software can (with wildly varying levels of usefulness) run on Linux. Drivers simply won't work because the underlying system isn't there. If you can find some Windows software that is supposed to be able to talk to your media player, you can try installing it, but I'd wager that your time is much better spent
here.
