Will the amd graphics on Ryzen 5 5625u work in linux

Hi everyone, am looking for a new laptop.
No the most powerful out there, amd seem to be a little cheaper.

I found one I like with the Ryzen 5 5625u chip.
I will be installing Linux, current Lubuntu and MX Linux user.

Just wondering will the onboard graphics on the above chip work,
will it be restricted in any way in comparison to running on windows.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I can get Intel based laptops, but this new P core other
slower cores might not play well, I am told too that intel
are using some sort of driver now for the on board camera
that is not at all supported in Linux, so am giving them a miss.

Thanks you all for reading, I look forward to your comments

Hello Littlebug. Welcome to LQ.

Amd graphics are pretty well supported in linux. Of course integrated graphics are low quality by comparison with separate cards. Most webcams are also supported these days using the uvcvideo.ko kernel module. Of course it's always possible, but Intel are not hostile to linux by nature, like M$ are.

Yes, it works fine as long as it's a reasonably recent kernel. I have a 5825U with Debian Sid running on it.
