Wifi issues on toshiba laptop
Okay I purchased a toshiba A505-(something) a few months ago, and installed fedora 12x64. Everythigg works just fine except for the wi-fi. As a result I live on the windows partition because I need internet access most of the time while I'm wandering.

After some googling I'm still not %100 sure how to even begin to figure out what the problem is or even see what wi-fi chipset it has under the hood

I've looked at the official fedora 12 docs and at the information linked from there. I've also read over the and poked around that site for some clue and still have nothin' any help or even just a poke in a useful direction would be appreciated

To find the chipset and give us a list of modules loading, post the output of

/sbin/lspci -vnn

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was able to get it working using the driver attached to this bug.
