I've got a laptop...

HP NC6220

It's presently running XP Pro, and I am considering switching to a Linux distro or even setting up a dual boot, but I'm having trouble deciding on a distro...

I've been considering Kubuntu, OpenSuse, Redhat, & Xandros.

I'm heavily considering Kubuntu.

Ultimately, I need to support as much of my hardware is possible...
- lappy has wireless b/g, bluetooth, and a schittload of other stuff...

I'm new to linux, and Debian has been quite a challenge on two of my machines already. Now I'd like to take the easy path on this one. What do you all think?

I dont even really want to pay for a distro, but I might.

Go to http://linux-laptops.com/ and look up your laptop, then read other peoples experiences on certain distributions.
