wanting to try linux out, should I


hi i was wanting to try out linux. right now i have a toshiba a 70 and read the sticky and followed the linux laptop link through to toshiba>a70
now that seem like a little bit of work and im sorta new to this. so i was wondering where would i find the livecd and as well how would i go about fixing things if i screw up sorry to ask such a simpliton question but i dont wanna break anything or bite off more than i can chew being my first time trying linux thanks very much for your help everyone.

sorry nvm my first question i found an image but still how hard is it to fix a screw up fjsuta format away i hope.

Try out a couple of Live-CD distros, there are several good ones out there. As long as all you're doing is poking about in what's already installed on the CD, you shouldn't mess up anything already installed on your laptop.
