Want to dual boot CentOs 5.5 onto Windows 7 HP G62 laptop

I got my new HP G62 laptop a few days ago, and to help with my university course I need to install a linux OS onto it. We use CentOs and Fedora at university, so I've downloaded the live CD of CentOs from the website and am now having trouble installing it.

Could someone please help me install?

I am currently running 64-bit Windows 7 and have created a 10GB unallocated partition for the new OS.

I've never installed Centos, but exactly what problems are you having?

Well it'll go right through the non-interactive setup, then the screen will go black and not do anything.

It doesn't ask me which partition I want to use to install onto either, even though I have an unallocated partition for it.

Might be a problem with the Intel graphics. I've no idea, but someone will have.

I think that's the one. The specs look the same.
