Volume fn keys w/ Audigy2 PCMCIA

Hello,

I'm having hard time with volume function keys on Fujitsu-Siemens AmiloPro V8010 since I installed Creative Audigy2 ZS (PCMCIA). Fn+f3 (mute) / +f8 (vol down) / +f9 (vol up) halt the system completely, need to shutdown with button..

Buttons seemed to work when internal sound card was BIOS enabled, but I couldn't get volume up enough. Once I disabled internal sound card in BIOS, the volume is OK, but fn keys block everything (and I'm so used to them .

Any suggestions?

Regards,
zhaq

PS. I'm using Ubuntu 7.10
