volume buttons on Inspiron 8200


How do i configure the volume and other buttons on my Dell Inspiron 8200 to work under Slackware 8.1? showkey does nothing when i press these buttons. please help. Thanks

go to the yahoo group linux-dell-laptops . they have a tgz downlaod that will help you out, plus plenty of posts on this same topic.
