Vaio GR series and VGA / TV output

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-GR250 notebook running Linux (kernel 2.6.11). I am trying to transfer LCD's image to the external VGA and TV outputs. I know sonypi module is working fine, since other programs that use it are working flawlessly. I tried to use a program called i810switch, which is supposed to do what I want. However, the following happened:

Code:

tiago  ~ $ -> i810switch
PCI id of i810 is not recognized.

I think my chipset ID may not be supported by the program, but I don't know how to find it out. Also, the program's website says there is a way of "forcing" it to see if it works with other chipsets, but I'm not able to edit it, since I don't know my chipset ID.

Do you have any tips that may help me? Anyone who did this already?

I appreciate any help!

Thanks,

Tiago
