USB to Ethernet Adapter Probs in RHEL 3

Hello Reader,

I have installed RHEL 3.0 on my personal computer. As my computer don't have a NIC I used the ADM851X USB TO FAST ETHERNET adapter present inside the Targus ACP50 Docking Station (for laptop).

The Docking station is been reconigzed by the OS but the Ethernet Adapter is not.

That's why I am unable to establish a ADSL connection in Linux.

Please tell some way to get the USB to Fast Ethernet Adapter reconigzed in linux.

Thanks
Regards
Deependra

OK, how about
# lspci

Might be an idea to do:
# tail -f /var/log/messages
while you hotplug the docking station and usb adapter.

Do any other USB devices work with this docking station? (using linux)
