frank-01 Member Registered: Nov 2003 Location: Quebec City Canada Distribution: SuSE 9.1 Pro. Posts: 30 Rep:	USB 2.0 With SuSE 9.1 Pro using Belkin F5U222 Hi every body! I have SuSE 9.1 Pro installed and i tried to find a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card that is compatable with Linux but with not much presition. I have tried the Belkin F5U222 on my HP Pavilion ze4500 and without any driver installation or configuration it work right out of the box. I am very please to have found a product that works. I used a NetDisk to test the transfer rate to check the connection. I got 6.9 MB/s transfer rate. When I used my USB 1.1 port i was getting around 800 KB/s. Hope that it will be of good info to any body looking for USB 2 to work on a portable computer. Frank Last edited by frank-01; 07-18-2004 at 12:50 PM.
