Lightbulb Unorthodox solution to video detection

I have a Dell Latitude (I call it Attitude) and I was trying to install Red Hat 9.0 but every time the computer will boot for the first time I couldn't see the screen because for some strange reason the video wan't cooparating.

During the installation the video was fine and the detection was correct. So, while it was installing I went through the additional windows (not too technical here, sorry) using a key combination (either alt+ f1, f2 ,f3 etc. or ctl + f1, f2, f3 etc.)

There I saw the video settings it was using and when the time came for the video detection I used all those setting and DONE!

I hope someone can use this vague information.

Love,

Evan
