Turning off 1 out of 2 Radeon GPUs on Crossfire enabled HP Pavilion g6 2239-sr
Hello, I've read somewhere about that discrete GPU can be turned off in software in GNU/Linux.
I think the solution involved blacklisting nvidia graphics card driver, so that the device used the Intel integrated GPU. Though admittedly i don't know if truly not loading driver disables hardware component, so please, don't limit yourselves to just providing a blacklisting driver solution in my case. Perhaps there are better solutions? However my laptop has 2 GPUs both from Radeon, but different architectures. Is it possible to turn off my discrete GPU in order to reduce power usage and perhaps prolong battery life? output for "xrandr --listproviders" P.S. I can switch between my GPUs using the DRI_PRIME variable |

Thank you, this is just what I needed!
