trackpoint scroll button

I'm using Fedora Core 2 on an IBM T23 laptop. The trackpoint works fine, but the scroll button is recognized only as the middle button (normally, holding the scroll button and moving the mouse should scroll in the appropriate direction). Any driver or workaround for this?
