TP600E CD-Rom problem (?)
 

I have a problem that is actually more like a doubt. I've been using redhat 9 in my TP600 for about 6 months now, and there is one thing that has always bugged me, not only on this distro, but in any distro i've so far tried.
The thing is that if I press the eject button on the cd-rom drive BEFORE issuing the eject command the cd-rom locks up for good, and is only unlocked with a reboot
Is there any way to solve this ?

PS: My cd-rom is locked at this present moment, that is why i finally decided to post this question

Yeah, tape a thumbtack on the eject button with the sharp side out. that way you wont push it :-D
