Angry Toshiba+Debian=Error ???


I bought a Notebook from Toshiba (L 10)
now i tried to install Debian and the installation worked until the reboot
it just stopped booting at this point :
htt*://home.arcor.de/deluxxx/DSCN0521.JPG (please replace the "*" with a "p")
this is a Knoppixversion but before that i tried sarge and it also didnt work
i'd be really really happy if anyone could help me .
btw i really used google and i didnt find anything helpfull

ok i think the problem is USB
how can i disable USB ???

count up 10 lines from the bottom .. open that file and see what line 37 has to say. if that's the part of the file where it reads the /etc/modules file, open that up and have a look. back it up and try deleting the usb module names from that file, which are on the second line starting with ohci1394 and up to usbcore in your picture there.

also the line below that one with that oss module looks very suspicious.

you should probably file a bug report.
