Thinkpad R500 thermal sensors names (lm-sensors)

Hi,

Has anyone properly configured thermal sensors labels (names) in sensors.conf file for Thinkpad R500 laptop. ThinkWiki has no entry for R500. My "sensors" output:

------------------------------------------
acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +50.0°C (crit = +127.0°C)
temp2: +46.0°C (crit = +100.0°C)

thinkpad-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
fan1: 2976 RPM
temp1: +50.0°C
temp2: N/A
temp3: N/A
temp4: +43.0°C
temp5: +50.0°C
temp6: N/A
temp7: +32.0°C
temp8: N/A
temp9: +33.0°C
temp10: +43.0°C
temp11: +45.0°C
temp12: N/A
temp13: N/A
temp14: N/A
temp15: N/A
temp16: N/A

How to identify which temperature refers to what hardware?

Hi:

I have never configured thermal sensors labels in the sensors.conf file; sorry-

I used the termanal (man sensors to see what the man pages had to say a about sensors.

Code:

NAME
      sensors - print sensors information

SYNOPSIS
      sensors [ options ] [ chips ]
      sensors -s [ chips ]
      sensors --bus-list

DESCRIPTION
sensors is used to show the current readings of all sensor chips.
sensors  -s is used to set all limits as specified in the configuration
      file.
sensors --bus-list is used to generate bus statements suitable for  the
      configuration file.

I (think) that this description "thinkpad-isa-0000 Adapter: ISA adapter"
Is the actual temperature associated with the adapter that gives your laptop power.
