Thinkpad & Kernel

I finally got Debian Sid installed on my IBM Thinkpad 380XD, which has a 233mhz cpu, 96mb of mem, 4gb HD, Cirrus Logic sound card that use the CS4236 chipset, 25x cdrom and a 2mb NeoMagic video card.

Now I'm ready to recompile the kernel and would like to know which processor I should choose for this, a pentium II, P-III or P-mmx? I'm not certain which one I should use.

Any other suggestions or tips for compiling the kernel using this setup?

I think that your CPU is a Pentium II.
