FYI - I've had a rtl8187b attached to an Asus motherboard that I've owned for a couple of years now, and, while I've searched and searched, I've never found a thread or post where someone has found a driver or a hack to make it run successfully in Linux. The rtl8187b was supposed to be a wireless usb dongle which could act as a wireless access point on my motherboard, it has Windows drivers, but none, even using ndiswrapper, has even come close to making it useful in Linux.
If someone has actually found a solution, I'd be glad to hear it.

thanks alot ...i solved it .. it requires to install the backported kernel and i did that i installed kernel 2.6.32 though it has a little bug that i want to report ..but now the system can read the wireless adapter ..i want to try to install debian squeez alpha1 ..even it's tested but maybe it's kernel is advanced than the 2,6,26 and it will be compatible with the rest system = less bugs ..
