Hi,
I'm having problems with sound in Linux and my laptop, and since I know much about neither, I decided to turn to you all.
My VIA AC'97 sound system wasn't listed in the ALSA database as supported. So I'm thinking of putting in a new sound card for my laptop. Trouble is, I know crap about which sound cards are available for laptops and which ones I should choose.
Can anyone give me the answer to those questions?
While you're at it, I'd appreciate it much if you mentioned which graphics cards are available and suitable for laptop computers as well.
