The 2011 PCLinuxOS LXDE works flawlessly on my Toshiba Satellite L655D!

Hi,

To anyone needing or wanting a new distro and a popular one at that, my Toshiba Satellite L655D and all its hardware and peripheral (webcam, synaptic touch pad, sound and graphics card all work as they did in their native state with Windows 7. Also, I did successfully erase and installed this OS over Windows 7 (good riddance) as the primary partition, not just as a dual boot. That is just my FYI to all. Thanks!

Some people like Lxde. Not me, I'd rather use Xfce, or one of the *boxes.

Mandriva 2011 RC2 has picked up all my hardware devices okay. There may be a few bugs I've experienced today actually but it does work pretty sound on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. This is my chosen primary OS.
