[SOLVED] System settings > Desk Top > Enable effects

I've done a re-install of Fedora 11 on my Aspire One (for other reasons), but I still get this quirk. I've reset this preference many times already, yet on every reboot it has to be done again.

Slightly irritating, but is it worth a bug report to Fedora?

Any ideas or solutions please.

yes. file it at bugzilla.redhat.com or provide more details including

desktop version
any special configuration changes to user privileges.

It may be an upstream problem

Although that is very well the case, there are some quirky things in several re-installs. The panels change and fonts and icons are not always stable. These are; however; not fatal, so unless Fedora wants to make it really iron-clad I'll not file a bug report.
