syncing and backuping the Zaurus Sl5500

I´m a newbie in Linux, I use the distro Kurumin made in Brazil by Morimoto. The machine is detected by the port USB with all the data about it.
I have in the hanheld the Sharprom V. 3.13.
I would like to make a backup in the notebook (where the Kurumin is installed)and to sync it, every week.How to do?
