Angry Sync iMate JAM with Linux PIM

Is there a way of sync iMate with Linux PIM?

iMate JAM runs Windows Mobile 2003 SE and I intend to install either Debian 4.0 or the latest Version of Ubuntu. I was earlier using SimplyMapis 6.0 but had to leave it and go back since I could not sync my PDA with it. I am looking for a software or a way to sync the PDA as is automatically done by Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5
