Synaptics USB Touchpad - X11 Driver

I have a Toshiba Satellite 5105-S501 with a Synaptics USB Touchpad. I can't seem to get the synaptics X11 driver working (for scrolling and tap-zone features). It only seems to detect a Synaptics PS/2 touchpad. I tried the USB cPad drivers, which are supposed to work with the synaptics X11 driver, but those didn't detect the touchpad, either.

Does anyone know how to get a Synaptics USB Touchpad working with the synaptics X11 driver?
