swsusp2, acpi, and Acer TM800

Hi guys (and girls ),

the software suspend doesn't seem to be well covered here ; well actually, the software suspend question doesn't seem to be well covered anywhere.

Anyway, I've been installing the swsusp2 (both core and kernel specific) patches for the 2.6.1 kernel on my TM800, configured it properly to remove all services, and unload every module. Nonetheless, on rebooting, my laptop hangs up trying to read the kernel and cache data.

Guess something's wrong, but I can't figure out what this is.

Any advice ?

Thanks in advance,
jdif
