Suspend/hibernate on Pentium M 1,5GHz Dothan

I can't make suspend and hibernate working on my notebook (Dothan Pentium 1,5GHz) with Mandrake 10.1 . I tried to update kernel to 2.6.10, but the only thing that changed is that L2 cache is now recognized correctly:

# cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 13
model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.50GHz
stepping : 6
cpu MHz : 1494.201
cache size : 2048 KB
fdiv_bug : no
hlt_bug : no
f00f_bug : no
coma_bug : no
fpu : yes
fpu_exception : yes
cpuid level : 2
wp : yes
flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr mce cx8 apic sep
mtrr pge mca cmov pat clflush dts acpi
mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss tm pbe tm2 est
bogomips : 2965.50
When waking from suspend to memory the screen got black. When waking from suspend to disk then system is booting from scratch and nothing is restored (RAM=512MB, swap = 700MB).
Also, speedstep-centrino modul can't be loaded and modprobe ends with:

speedstep-centrino: no table support for CPU model "Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.50GHz":
speedstep-centrino: try compiling with CONFIG_X86_SPEEDSTEP_CENTRINO_ACPI enabled
Suspend/hibernate (and speedstep) are essential notebook functions to me. Can anybody confirm, that these functions are working with this processor? Even with other distro, like FC3?

I've tried an 1.7 ghz dothan on two seperate pcs, both running suse and kernel 2.6.8-24.11 (suse)

On a dell 500m it works correctly, so does speedstep, on my toshiba portege m200 however, speedstep does not work. I know of a patch to the centrino driver, but it should not be necessary on the 2.6.10 kernel.

So what I am trying to say is that it may or may not work, as far as I know.. I'll test the patch though, I found the patch here

Re: well...

The cpufreq is already solved, I used the patch from and compiled the kernel.

Meanwhile I also tried FC3 2.6.9 and 2.6.10 kernel and both still don't contain this patch.

And probable they won't containt it so quickly.
At you can read:
"This patch is not completely undisputed, since there are still some unclear facts about the dothan voltage levels. See the discussion yourself here, and consider this a warning. Don't hold me responsible if your system catches fire."
