SUSE9PRO-NIC Card works in office LAN but when at home causes siemans router to fail

When I am in the office LAN I resolve DNS, DHCPIP, etc. My NIC works fine. When I am at home my SIEMEN router gets both a yellow and green light when connected. It causes my whole network to not be able to connect to the internet. I resolve a DHCPIP but cannot connect out to the internet from any computer until I disconnect and restart the other nodes on the network. Any ideas?

Cable or Port

Have you tried something as simple as a different port or a different cable? What does a yellow and green light on the router mean? It could be something as simple as half duplex or a slower speed. It does sound like a IP address conflict. When you get the IP from DHCP, are you sure it is a valid IP along with subnet mask and gateway?
