suse toshiba

I just installed suse 9.2 on my brand new toshiba m30x.
it seemed to auto detect pretty much everythig but i have a few problems.

-first of all the only way I can get it to boot is to run "linux NOPCMCIA=YES at grub...so I have no pcmcia

-second of all (most important) no internet, it detects both my ethernet and my wifi cards but I can't seem to get online, even with ethernet. I use comcast cable intenet and have never came across problems configuring it on my other computers, i don't realy like yast, I find it hard to navigate, but I think I have everything configured the same as on my desktop..now heres the kicker. Mandrake move live cd (useing it right now) boots up fine with internet (no wireless).

-touchpad works but tapping it won't click, you have to actualy lick the button, no big deal but it is annoying.

well...any ideas (theinternet is priority, I can't get on LQ o find the answers to the other questions without going to a different compy or booting a live cd (or boot into windoze but who wants that)

type lsmod from the terminal and see if your ethernet card has a module loaded for it. Do it from the live cd first to see what modules you need and then look in the suse config. type 'modprobe modulename' to load it and then try to activate your card with yast.
