Suse 9 Wireless

I'm curious if anyone else has or has had issues with wireless on Suse 9? When I first loaded it wireless wouldn't work at all, refusing to get a dhcp address. I replaced dhcpcd with dhcp-client and that problem became fixed. However it still seems very flaky when connecting.

I opted not to put the encryption key in the module and am trying to get the kwireless applet working so I can switch between my home and work wireless profiles. This almost never works though. So if anyone has a better solution I'd appreciate it. I don't want to have to go into the module to change the encryption key or take it out whenver I change wireless networks (my house, my friends house, various hot spots, and work).

Specs: Toshiba Satallite 5105 s607
Orinocco gold 802.11b wireless card. 128 bit encryption.

Thanks in advance.

Aric
