Suse 10.0 Evaluation version on my compaq evo N800C

I got this laptop from someone and now I want to use it to experiment with Linux, I've never worked with it before, but all of you had to start once . I got the tip that SuSe Linux was the best to start with, because of the easy interface. Now I downloaded Suse from an FTP (not the official site) and I start up with the dvd. The installation starts and I get as far as the installation overview. I formatted my hard drive before during the installation of Linux, and now he gives me a list with subtitles "Partitions","software","Language"
under software it says "No sources found on cd:///;devices=/dev".
When i go to change => software => Filter, I get something called zzz everything , but I can't do anything with it, and I'm quite stuck now. Some help would be nice.
Thanx,
Thombose

Try getting new discs, post back if that doesn't work.
