Standby and LED lights

I have an HP Pavilion dv8000 series laptop and I just setup standby using ACPI. The laptop goes into standby perfectly, but on resume I have one problem. The problem is my numlock LED light doesn't turn itself back on. Numlock is still on because I can still enter in the numbers, but the LED light isn't on. Pressing numlock twice will turn on the LED light since it's in effect turning numlock off and then on again.

Is there anyway to solve this so I don't have to do this manually everytime I resume from standby?
