Sound Problem with FC3

I've finally upgraded to FC3 on my HP Pavilion ze4805, I've got everything working, including my wireless using ndiswrapper. My problem is that everytime I boot I have to redetect my soundcard in order to hear anything. After I use the GUI sound detector tool, I can hear sounds. Is there something that I'm missing in order to get this working at boot up?

It did the sound detection during the installation and I was able to hear the test sound.

Your mixer settings may need to be looked at - try getting the ALSA Mixer or use the mixer in KDE and have it load mixer settings at startup.

Check to see if the mixer has muted your output and increase the levels.

This is in its Preferences/Configuration dialog in KMixer.

Is UDEV initialising AUDIO at boot time? It should be the first on in the list after the Kernel starts.
