Sony Vaio VGN-S260 'howto'

I've just taken the time to write up a pretty comprehensive outline on setting up the major functions on a Sony Vaio VGN-S260 laptop running linux. I'm posting a link to it here in hopes it might help someone with the same (or similar) hardware.

This might be beneficial to you if you're running into problems with ipw2200, Intel sound chipset, an ATI Radeon Mobility 9200, or speedstep issues on a Pentium Mobile.

It's mostly Slackware specific, but the main principles should be relevant to any modern distro.

Enjoy Any comments, please leave them here or hit the email button. This will probably be an ongoing effort.
