Yea that is what I was doing but this is a fresh install, well just the preloaded stuff anyways. It said earlier that I had 1.3gigs left.

Ok well I cannot find anything else. Do you know a way to delete the preloaded files, like the games.

i might have helped you if i knew your OS.. one can easily uninstall by a package manager. i use ubuntu and so i use apt to uninstall unwanted applications.can you post the output of

i was just wondering even if this thread has got almost 140 views why no one is replying to this thread?? it is not at all a task for anyone out here.

I used synaptic package manager and uninstalled all the games.

And yes it is some type of xandros.

after little googling i found that xandros uses apt.. so you can use
Code:
apt-get remove applicationname
..i cant predict how an os gets affected by removing an application.try at your own risk

edit:i didnt see the above post

did uninstalling help you free some disk space?

Yes, sir. And it is installing. There is something about that thumb drive. Everything on it will not let me use it.

But ECMLink is installing so far.

Well now my desktop is not showing. It just stays black and I cannot do anything.

And I still need space lol.

delete all the folders of your os except the one in which your script resides..you will get a lot of space(joking)

I got ECMLink to install, but now I cannot use it though.

I know the desktop option was check when I installed it. Just takes me to the ECMLink setup.

Is there a certain way to open files or something?

I switched to Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix, all is fixed.
