Should I be trying to log in under my username SuperDave?

That is what I used when starting Linux.

Error unpacking jar files. Aborting.
You might need administrative priviledges for this operation.

Does anyone think it could be because the usb drive is FAT.

You are going to hate me.... how do I go about doing that?

I do think I have tried it before. You just do it as a root user correct?

Edit: And what is "lpadmin" I noticed it was in the groups section.

Well before we start over...

So I took the ecmlink file and put it in the "My Office" folder.

Edit: I'm going to try to change the user:group on the D: itself if I can.

Now I'm getting this "/home/user/My Documents/My Office> chown user:user ecmlink_3_18_205_full.sh
/home/user/My Documents/My Office> chmod +x ecmlink_3_18_205_full.sh
/home/user/My Documents/My Office> sh ./ecmlink_3_18_205_full.sh
tail didn't work. This could be caused by exhausted disk space. Aborting."

Is there a way to change the ownership of that drive?

Edit again: Could it also be becuase I download that file on a windows system. Should I try to DL it to the thumb drive from this PC?
