so you have a laptop but you cant afford a 12v adapter

its my problem at least, so this is what i found and am looking for a microwave at the trash point so i can give a try.

just thought id post the link in case anybody else needs a cheap inverter.

Be very careful hooking up a laptop to a power source that's not designed to work with it, especially the newer laptops. They can be damaged very easily. Some of the newer laptops require a 90W transformer. If a transformer for an older laptop is used to power one of these it can cause severe damage to the unit.
