small and very fast linux laptop distro as ebook reader?
Hi there....
I've got a small and very old laptop that I'd like to use as an ebook readr (only)...
My larger HP Pavilion notebook has a boot-into-DVD player (HP QuickView) option which is based on Linux... I am looking at something similar but only to view ebooks (pdf's etc) on an older laptop.
Is there a very small (I've got 32MB RAM) Linux distro out there that can be used to convert old laptops into eBook readers?
The main part is that it needs to be booting up fast (and have a snappy minimalist X system I guess or even a console reader with svgalib or so..)
Any ideas are appreciated (any of the 'minimalist' distributions out there doesn't seem to work)
