Slackware freezes on install boot
I'm trying to install Slackware 9.1 on my HP Pavilion ze4502us and I put the cd in, and try to boot the machine, and it comes to the screen where I need to push enter to install slackware and it freezes completely, unable to push anything, everytime. Are there any known errors along this line or anyone had this error with HP's.

try the normal boot disc not the cd

The normal boot disk meant are resided in the cdrom on:

use the program rawwrite.exe to write them into disketts. U can find them some where on the CD..
But What are prompted that said enter, be sure u read the screen output throughly. U might need to pass some what like " ramdisk hdc=ide-scsi " during the boot time with the CD or diskett. That tell the kernel to load it self into RAM-DISK for installing slackware. and hdc=ide-scsi tell the kernel on which device ur cdrom is, if not worked u might replace with " ramdisk hdd=ide-scsi ", but read the screen thoroughly u follow the instruction on them, good luck ..
