Hello all, I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite L45-S7409 and I want to put slackware 12 on it. I owned a Sony Vaio before and trying to get slack on that was a nightmare, I installed it fine but getting graphic's and wireless support was a whole nother matter. I'm just curious as to how this laptop would handle it so if anyone owns this or owns a laptop similiar and is running slack any advice tips or tricks would be greatly appriciated.
alright so i've got slack 12 installed and up and running. but how do i set up my wireless, battery meter, and the backlight is always off. any help would be greatly appriciated. my main concern is getting the wireless up and running, thanks in advance
