Slackware 10 on dell latitude!!
 

Hey.

For the fourth time, I tried to install slackware 10 on my laptop but when i try to boot up all I get is the letters L I.

I have tried two different sets of disks, im installing the full 3gigs using the standard kernel.

I changed the kernel and it worked!!??

It works but I dont really understand why!?

i have slackware 10 on my dell latitude too...

if you want.. ask away.

Acpi???
 

It's possible to be an acpi (power management) problem. Try to install bareacpi kernel.

I use it on my laptop and it's ok!
