Slackware 10.2, kernel 2.6.13, and a Gateway 1450LS
Had a heck of a time getting everything tweaked to work.
Can read about some of it at www.cwwilson721.dyndns.org/slack ,but I still can't get the DRI to work in X11 (xorg 6.8.2) . It seems to boil down to the BIOS, but I'm not real sure about that (i830m video). Any help can/will be appreciated. Can get my entire xorg.conf from the website, or can post here.

Everthing working like a dream now.
Alps Touchpad > All functions work perfect
ACPI > All enabled
i830m Video > Enabled DRI, have dual monitor support, plus my glxgears test fps TRIPLED
PCMCIA Wireless > Perfect
Internal Modem > Works
