SiS 740 on redhat 9.0


Hi!
I've this problem: i cannot configure my video card on my laptop (Asus L3000) using redhat 9.0. If i select the sis driver the screen becomes black but no error message is shown.
I have to use the vesa generic standard but.... it's so bad....
Can anybody help me?
